Looking Forward
My primary goal is to work in a forward-looking environment where I can engage my passions, apply myself with confidence, and yet still be challenged to achieve greater heights. It is important to me that I work with interesting people who share my passions for broadening horizons and exploring new ideas.
My mission as a professional is to help interesting people clearly communicate their ideas and their ideals through graphic design, writing and other modes of communication.

History
Medicus Canada Toronto, Jun 07 to present: Currently you'll find me in the busy studio of this pharmaceutical advertising agency, where I am kept on my toes with many varied and interesting print projects.
Freelance & Contract Kuwait, Stony Plain, Toronto, Jan 06 to Jun 07: Over this period I had contract and freelance jobs covering a range of disciplines, from creating brand identities to newspaper production to scientific and medical graphics for journal publication.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital Riyadh, Sep 03 to Nov 05: In a senior position with this in-house design department, my projects included designing reports, promotional materials, presentations, educational materials, and I was Production Editor of the hospital’s medical journal (The Annals of Saudi Medicine). I addressed brand management issues and initiated a graphic standards project for the hospital.

AES Company Toronto, Oct 98 to Feb 00: With this graphic design, advertising and print production studio, I designed advertising and promotional materials, as well as doing heavy-duty production.
Carlton Printers Toronto, 90 to 98: The foundation of my career was laid in production and preparing artwork for this print shop. Due to this experience I always design with consideration for efficient production, to ensure best results.
Education
George Brown College Toronto, 95 to 98: I graduated from this three-year Graphic Design program with good marks and a positive attitude.
University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Toronto, 08: Foundations of Project Management
Etcetera
I'm comfortable writing and editing copy, and in a pinch I can take photos too.
At ease with the de rigueur list of graphics applications (InDesign, Quark XPress, Illustrator, Photoshop), Flash and some other goodies are within my grasp as well. I am also capable of extensive Macintosh system maintenance.
